What Is Your Money Mindset?
Are you an artist or creative professional who struggles to make the money you want to make?
Take this quiz and let’s find out…
▪️ I often give away my art or services (volunteering, or working more hours than I’m actually paid).
▪️ It’s so hard to ask for a raise or to raise fees that I just don’t do it.
▪️ I actually dislike money and the people who have it.
▪️ I am proud of my ability to make do with little. There’s nobility in being poor.
▪️ I blame someone or something else for my financial situation (IRS, ex-spouse, etc).
▪️ I find ways to avoid dealing with money (bartering, credit cards).
▪I am in debt, with little savings, and not idea where my money is going.
▪️ I am vague about my earnings (overestimate or underestimate income; see gross not net).
▪️ I continually put others’ needs before my own
▪️ I am frequently in pain or stress around money.
If you answered “yes” to many (or maybe all) of these questions, then you are likely an “underearner” or you live with a scarcity mindset.
The key to upping your earnings is rarely working longer hours or finding a scheme to get rich quick. We need to adjust our money mindset.
Our scarcity mindset is all past-based and fear-based.
You can move from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset by:
1. Letting go of past-based fears and stories about money.
2. Connecting to your self-worth and believing that you are deserving of money.
3. Understanding that wealth is a state of consciousness and selling your art or services is an energetic exchange.
You are inherently abundant!
